She specially hates white, red, black cars as deemed as too boring which ruled out a large chunk of cars. And when I said 6 months ago fishing what’s your ideal colour it was a “blue like yours” (Mexico Blue GT4). So the wife’s car had to be either Mexico, Riviera or Voodo (seem to be Uber rare on the Macan).
She’s not a fast driver and doesnt appreciate the speed but I have a hatred for diesels (strange but true) so settled on a GTS as probably the sweet spot of range for us all things considered.
Picked up her 2017 Riviera Blue GTS from Porsche Aberdeen last week. Not too loaded with options but full leather, air suspension, nav, pan roof, connect plus, 21” wheels etc so just about enough.
Very impressed with the condition paint, interior and wheels immaculate. I actually ordered sight unseen from a beach on holiday (beer and sun and her birthday).
I had clocked the car come up in late Nov and they wanted £55k then. After they gradually reduced the price circa £6k between then and Jan it coincided with her Birthday so I mailed arranged a PX price on her old car and the deal was done.
Then when we got back I drove the circa 560 miles each way (we live in Somerset) to drop of her px and pick this up (up one day back the next
A week later she’s smitten with it and I am super impressed with the package over all.
