Mine seems out by about 2 psi on all sensors equally
How accurate is it supposed to be? Or is it just an indicator ?

The readings on my car are the same as on my tyre pump, so roughly the same, on other makes the sensors just register a drop in pressure alone, I believe ours transmit a signal which indicates actual pressure,

Hope this helps.

They do indeed, as I discovered in Central France a while ago. I watched the pressure fall as I came to a stop.

The continuous pressure readout is only a guide. When the car is stationary, when viewing the same screen press the select button on the steering wheel. You should now see 'fill info'. This is an accurate, temperature corrected readout of the difference, if any, from design pressure in each wheel. Use only this information to add or subtract the stated difference to achieve the correct pressure.

This explains why your pressure gauge, which isn't 100% accurate anyway, differs from the car's readout. Note that the manufacturer's recommended pressures only apply at 20C.

I know it’s all a bit OTT, but part of dealership standards will be a six monthly full calibration of tyre gauges....(and all other equipment)

Turns out the monitors are all spot on!
Recommend getting good quality gauge that’s calibrated

What gauge did you get, and what is the stated accuracy?
