The alternatives I’m looking at are either the 20” Macan Turbo high gloss back:

Or the 20” Macan Turbo in satin platinum:

If you want the GTS look stick with the standard, not so difficult to clean as all in satin black let’s face it, they are never gonna sparkle 😎. I personally like the 20” Turbo in high black gloss but you will probably spend more time keeping the gloss/alloy combination bright. I have both wheel versions on two different cars, the gloss alloy takes an age to clean in comparison but I prefer the finished article 😊 hope this helps 🤕

My GTS all be it a Mk1 had 21"s and the standard PASM. Never once did I ever find an issue with the ride or handling and I am not a slow driver. I even had unprompted compliments on how smooth the ride was and the roads around here are far from billiard table smooth. At best air on a GTS is a "nice to have" and very possibly a "not nice to have" as it robs the GTS of some of its focused GTSness IMHO

Thanks, that does help as I assumed the black gloss would be easier. I'm also mindful that it is traditional to have the Spyders on the GTS.
Wheel woolies as previously suggested will be the cheapest option :)

We need to drive the different combinations to appreciate the differences. I personally hated the 21" in comparison. In my younger days, I wouldn't have appreciated, or even cared, about the differences. Nowadays I'm much more fussier. While I still appreciate sports cars, I cannot be bothered with cars not properly dealing with the imperfections in the road. Especially on discovering an inch can make a massive difference...

The great thing about the Macan is you can specify the combination that matches your own preferences. Every combination of wheel size, and every combination of standard steel, PASM steel and PASM air will provide different handling characteristics. What's right for one person will not be right for someone else. Which makes a forum like this difficult, as everyone's coming forward with their own opinions. One person saying something's great and someone else saying the same thing is rubbish!

On my previous Macan I had the 18 way seats. For the GTS I have ditched these and will stay with the standard 8 way.

When I had the 18 ways I didn't get the most out of the memory function as it was only me that drove it and, frustratingly, whenever it went in to Porsche they must have done something to clear the memory as I ended up having to reprogramme them each time. So I chose to save £1263 on these.

Just as a "point of order", you specified the driver memory package so you haven't saved the full £1263.

I hope you don't hit problems with Mrs Bazz when someone moves her seat and she has no memory setting on the passenger's side :)

That's correct, I did. I added it after I reviewed my order. Mrs Bazz will be provided with an excuse just as soon as I can create one that she will believe :D
