Not surprised at the number of Porsches in the top ten just surprised of those the Panamera came top.

All a bit subjective mind (and based on predictions, not reality - don’t see how else they can give a 3 year value to a Taycan!)

Me too. I was tempted to buy a Sport Turismo when they first came out and spec'd one to around £100K. The sales guy told me I'd loose £30K as soon as I drove it out of the showroom.

They all look like 'non-optioned' base prices? Add £10-15k to each base price, which a good proportion of buyers do, and the % residuals won't look nearly as good?

If you change regularly [I do every 3 yrs / 20k miles] then a maximum of +10% in [desirable] options gives you the best residual value. Paying outright in cash for a Porsche, if you can do it, saves the finance charges and that hit too. This works for this type of top 10 low depreciators.

Otherwise HP or PCP can work out well for other makes / models - BMW, Mercedes etc. IMHO.

I’ve just achieved 63% on a 3 1/2 yr old 34000 mile GTS inc options (would have been 72% from list price)

Ah, I'm looking at this through the 'poison ivy tinted glasses' of the oil burner variant!

Edited to add, a too heavily optioned oil burner. £17k or about 35%

Panamera is a real surprise.
When I ordered a Macan Turbo late last year (my first Porsche) it was explained that there's no discount at all "except maybe for the Pamanera"!
Anyway, it's a nice reassuring article :)
