After 3 years of ownership with my Macan its now time to move on, fantastic car loved every minute of the ownership despite several faults, probally the best car I have had.
My car had various issues including 3 sets of front brakes, front hubs and two transfere boxes, that still didnt fix the issue it now needs a megatronix box repleacement, if this didn't work it was a new gearbox, despite several attempts to reject the car both Porsche and Clydesale refused to accept that there was any problems with the car. After a year of fighting my case the Ombusman has agreed and the car now gets rejected.

All I can say is if your cars transfere box is faulty please persist with the dealer, it is a known fault.

Please dont think I hate the car this is far from the truth, I loved every minute but cannot keep driving a car that I have no confidance with.

There is a lot of good people on here with a vast amount of knowledge, stay safe and good luck with your cars

I owned three Touaregs, all great cars, but I did have to replace the transfer gearbox in two of them. Those of course weren't the latest version, two Mk1s and a Mk2. Hopefully there are better now as what i have isn't far removed from a Touareg and i would guess a lot of the mechanicals are shared.

Wow. After all what you have been through and this has still probably been the best car you've had! I'd hate to think what your worst car was

Make sure you dont miss out on some of big discounts available on Touaregs. Brodaspeed brokers are quoting over 12K off from some of their UK VW dealers. I have used them before and everything went very smoothly. They put me in touch with a Manchester dealer and it was just like any other purchase apart from the massive discount. Future values will be based on these sort of discounts so if you miss out it will just be a bigger hit in depreciation. Some great spec on a black edition so a bargain I think.
