If you're after a mains powered one i got one from Lidl; worth keeping an eye out for when they're on offer. It's great for cars and bikes but wouldn't run a sprayer and an air wrench would be very stop and start.
For 12V i use a little Draper compressor and a Porsche gauge, it's done the job for10 years since the original compressor died.

When I was looking though I was trying to find something different as the 992 has no cigarette lighter ! I failed to find anything that would work for that car
How about also using a battery clamp to 12v cigarette socket adapter? I tried to post a link to amazon but it wouldn't link correctly, so just search for NOCO GC017 socket plug.

My Macan S, bought in May 2019, didn't come with a tyre inflator; or if it did, it certainly isn't under the boot floor. I had a spare collapsible wheel as an option, which take up most of the space, so maybe that's why (?)

It should be behind the panel on the left hand side of the boot - it's not immediately obvious.

(And if you'd had to use the collapsible spare, you'd have needed it!)

Or a foot pump ......what I use...... good exercise :D :D :D
Can't see see one in the boot. As I told Paul, I had a collapsible spare wheel as an option, and that takes up most of the space. They did include a jack and what looks like a small tool kit, but can't see a tyre inflator !

Left hand panel just inside the boot. Pull it down and it should be nestling in the bottom of the void.

Ok so took the plunge and ordered an air hawk cordless type, thought of how often do I use and will the battery be charged but we have other cordless batteries constantly on trickle so thought would give it a try, we have 4 vehicles and having to find keys and messing about with cigarette lighters is a bit of a bind.
Has the ability to preset pressure, digital readout and light too, will see how it performs ;)
Lock forward to update given my predicament above

Particularly interested in battery life. I would need to take on track days with me where during the course of the day we can let out a lot of pressure from the tyres but then need to pump them right back up before we leave.
Should be with me early next week, will come back with an initial update.
