Surely the word "servicing" was superfluous to this sentence

Macan S 2019MY gen2, first service + brake fluid transfusion... £714 at Porsche Bournemouth

I felt it was excessive, given that all my cars For the last 20 years had a service plan included.
Current: 911 Carrera T - PPM9RU51
On order: 911 Targa 4S - PPDV8NY4

Just had a quote for an oil service for my 2019 Macan S. £472 i think, and no option to have a courtesy car!

Will it effect my warranty or trade in (PCP) If i get it serviced by a local indi?

This sounds like an optional oil change between services (I do the same). Should be no effect on warranty, PCP, or anything else, but make sure they use the correct oil and a Porsche oil filter, to avoid issues in future. Legally you can go indie even for servicing within warranty but might be wise to avoid that until out of warranty.

Wow, that’s pricey! I paid £300 for an interim oil change for my Panamera 4, with courtesy car for the day, and a couple of coffees!

Well, it doesn't look optional? I'm getting a message on the dash every time i start the car saying "Oil service due in xx days". Car is approaching 12 months old.

Hi WingCo, Same here, my Macan oil change (This is not classed as a service NSinc) was also £300 back in June at OPC Tewkesbury with a nice Boxster courtesy car. Originally the Service interval computer then showed the next oil change at June 2021, just checked again today and the computer has now pushed this back to Oct 2021, this fits nicely in-between by first service due in Dec 2020 and the 4yr service in Dec 2022.
NSinc - I would certainly challenge £472 just to change the oil, a tad steep!!

Was the courtesy car a Covid related issue or because they didn’t have enough courtesy cars?
