I think reliability is all relative. There's no point in comparing the reliability of a 911 with a Toyota Corolla. Porsches are just well built, no corners cut in my experiences from my first 924 which was ten years old when I bought it and was on a completely different level to anything else around at the time or even now. Ferraris have a seven year warranty for a reason.

I see Porsche was 3 again in this years JD Power USA Car reliability survey announced last week so the aluminium bolts must be doing ok!!
