Quick update, the stumble was gone after the pdk reset but came slightly back again. Got the transfer case fluid changed and now its definitely gone. Its been over a week and the car drives like brand new again.

Maybe something to consider for those experiencing hiccups / stumbles around certain rpm

Transfer case fluid, interesting.

When reported this problem initially, the transfer case was replaced, but it had made no difference. Then the car had the major service and replaced pdk fluid, also made no difference.

Same thing here. Pdk fluid change didnt change much for me. You have to ask for the transfer case change yourself since its not covered with the big maintenance. After the fluid change everything is gone again.

Quite a lot of people solved their transfer case problem this way

I love this forum!
My 2018 GTS was back at the dealers last week for a jerky gearbox I suggested the transfer box was at fault. After numerous test drives they were unable to find any fault and the car was collected 5 days ago. No difference at all but I then realised the faults were nearly always the change up from 1-2nd and some times 2-3 rd.

I have just seen and carried out the PDK reset on the previous page, carried out a road test and the previous jerkiness has gone. The car also feels more eager ? Much more like the car I bought and loved 10 months ago.

I had similar problems with my daughters 2015 Polo with a dsg box, it was transformed after a reset.

Thank you to the member who posted the reset procedure 👌.

I've never had to reset the pdk myself but I think that it has been reset a few times by OPC after updates etc..

Are you Jefft7 re-incarnated?

If so, why on earth did it take three years to report back?
