Hi everyone,

I have a 2016 s with 60k kilometers.

The car sometimes has a very small hiccup between 1800 and 2100 rpm. This only happens in sport mode. It doesn’t always happen either and only seems to happen in 2nd gear (sometimes first)

I did all the transfer case tests (offroad button, sharp backwards etc etc) but the symptoms are not the same as the transfer case.

The car does not judder, does not make any (clunking) sound or hesitating to change gear.
Overal the tc case symptoms do not match at all

Now I’ve read various threads about the famous porsche stumble. It seems to happen quite often from 911’s to macans. Its only a very small hiccup under very light load

So I was wondering if more people experienced this?

I've not heard of the "famous Porsche stumble" but the symptoms you describe if magnified would match perfectly those I had when the transfer box went.

Btw I mention famous stumble because if you google 991 engine stumble it seems to match my destription perfectly and its not related to the tc there

do you have to rub your stomach and pat your head while doing this?

seriously Porsche - just have a PDK reset option within the PCM menu

Mine has the so called stumble and a pdk reset didn't fix it. It is also intermittent so wasn't really able to show to technician. Having a service done next week, will bring it up again and see what happens.
