Nice to see these the other day.
Although the Model S' parking suggests it was trying to keep away from the Leaves - or the small bushes
Some E xciting developments coming 18/19
I think I have found a value in getting an EV.
You can park nearer to the Theatre with one.
Obviously word has not got around in the backwater City that I live in.

95% of the Managers that I came across in my working life definately would be to the left of the graph.

Comparing a Tesla Model X against a Macan is like comparing a Macan against a Cayenne i.e. a bit pointless as they are different sizes.Col Lamb wrote: ↑Sun May 27, 2018 10:52 amWell said.
A reasonably equipted Macan Turbo £75k
A Tesla Model X with similar performance and one extra pack selected £93k.
So the Tesla costs £18k more with far inferior selection of extras and a basic bland interior.
£18k will cover the costs of fuel, servicing and road taxes for many, many years in my Turbo.
What a Tesla will be worth in 3-5 years is unknown for an outright purchase.
The economics of a Tesla only seem to sort of make sense with a PCP.
PCP was a no-brainer on the Tesla. I've only ever bought Porsches outright because the finance is so expensive.
We much prefer the Tesla interior and tech too! As much as I like the Macan as a sporty SUV, the interior feels old and cramped with dated tech. We thought it was too much of a compromise for family use.
“Off-topic” section.
Though you have a point. The bulk of all traffic on this site has little to do with Macans. At least Rob has tried to tempt the Cayenne crowd away with another forum. Perhaps he can do us Macan owners a favour and set up a Tesla forum too

Apologies for being "off topic" since about April/May 2016.

I might be wrong, but SAC's 'comment' may have been prompted by "...the interior feels old and cramped with dated tech...".

OK so my infortainment system in my MACAN is dated.
What am I missing, perhaps those with the more recent systems can explain why this new tech is better.
My dated tech plays my MP3 music files, the SatNav is easy to programme and gets me from A2B will little drama, I can stream music if I want to, I can go online as can my passengers, the MFD menu systems presents all I need to know at the touch andd press of a tactile button that I can operate without taking my hands off the wheel to press a giant iPad screen.
So what am I missing?
