Just to say that I spotted my first Taycan out in the wild on Sunday. On the M4 heading east, between Bristol and Swindon, about 4pm. I have to say, it looked fantastic! Low, wide and with a sporty stance. It’s a good looking car and seems to be one of those that look better in the metal, compared to images online or on the printed page.

Agree about Mamba Green - wouldn’t be my first choice, but looked great in the metal.
Shame that I don’t have the facility for home charging, or I’d be sorely tempted, especially if they bring out a model below the 4S.

I got to take a 4s out for a test drive last Tuesday when my 911 was in for a heat shield fitting/recall.
Bonkers car!!
Still trying to work out what I think about it
Porsche dna is still there,
Very very quick but you have to look at the dials to have any idea of the speed your doing.
Quiet, no gear change revs
It is heavy but still handles exceptionally well considering

Yeah, sort of, but IMHO even more similar to the Audi A5 fastback:
Macan S, MY16 64k mls, dechromed, PASM, BiXenons, PDLS+, heated 18way sports hardbacks, 20" SportDesign rims/PZeroNeros.

Colour is a very personal choice. To me, the key is will it still impress me after three to five years. Sapphire Blue did as I was just as in love with the colour when I drove my SD for the last time after five years as I was on day one. Not so sure with Mamba Green.
While I was at the OPC waiting to collect my GTS they had a Taycan (and a Cayman) in Black and that colour on a Taycan failed the day one test for me. I'd still like to see one in Gentian Blue as it looks the dog's equipment in pictures.

A Gentian Taycan does look pretty smart

I would have one, in white
Having run a couple of Leafs in the past for the dog I bought in to the electric car thing although only for short journeys hence it worked well for the dog and station/airport runs.
