Agree the generation 1 Macan will have had a lot of facelifts by the time it's finished. Porsche is making the generation 2 Macan all-electric, so is padding out the existing ICE model with endless facelifts.

Audi and others do similar. For example, the Audi A3 generation 2 was out for about nine years in total if I remember correctly. It also had several refreshes and engine changes in that time.
