It has been a bumpy ride to Macan ownership. Today i had my 3rd courtesy car due to the Macan being in for investigation (thankfully all clear bar a new battery required).

Today i had a 20 plate Cayenne S which was nice. Fast! One of the nicest interiors i have been in. The first time i had the normal Cayenne. Again, nice.

I had this one though for a couple of days which was extremely enjoyable!

Glad to have my Macan back, albeit with a new battery required (paid for by the dealer i bought it from) and then a line drawn under it all.

Got it :D

My car is in on Monday for a replacement transfer box and I have a Boxster as a loaner. Always happy when I get something other than a Macan which generally seem to be the 2.0 version.

Funnily enough I had a Cayman S as a loan car over a long weekend when the transfer box was replaced on my previous Macan. Always brought a smile to my face when driving. Having the noise of the engine right behind you was great. It really added to the experience.

I am in reasonable shape and fairly active but still felt that I struggled to get out of it in a graceful manner. It felt so low compared the Macan that you can just easily slide out of.

How did you find it?

I have had a 987 Boxster S before but the new 718 is far more advanced. Although, my old boxster sounded a LOT better. The boxster looked and felt like a "proper" Porsche. I would have one in a minute. I am 32 so i am still very much in the mind set that something not very practical is worth it. Although when you have a 2 year old it is hard to justify!
