I stopped watching F1 many years ago when it became soooo boring, unlike MotoGP in which pretty much every race is thrilling. But last weekend I happened to switch on to watch the F1 race, which was thrilling for all the wrong reasons, and watched again this weekend to see that brilliant performance by Russell. It's not going to impress my wife if I start watching F1 as well as MotoGP!

How about Bottas and Russell in the Mercs with about £40,000,000 more in the Merc bank account!

As until the pandemic, I have been recently on a regular annual visit to Lahti in Finland where Bottas's home is near and where as a kid he first went on a Go Cart, I would support that.

I would love to see George Russell replace Hamilton in the Merc, but I think that Mercedes and Hamilton are both too keen to beat Michael Schumacher’s seven world titles... And no doubt Hamilton will be happy to keep on lugging his mega-salary back to his tax haven home.

Maybe Bottas might test positive for COVID...

So Hamilton never had Covid-19 after all then? To get symptoms, test positive then be clear after just 10 days, surely indicates he'd had a Common Cold, at worst?
