I think that he has consistently out quali is team mate at Williams and not been running at the back implies it is as much him.

And to jump in and drive a car with little practice and beat the long standing driver says something too.

Look at some of the others that have jumped in cars over the years, they’ve been ok but probably not as good as the regular driver for that team.

I think merc made a mistake signing Bottas next year and they should put this chap in unless deep down they know lewis won’t be there next year....

Worthy replacement for lewis anyway

I would like to see Lewis against George in the same car, I reckon George can give him a run for his money.

I do think Perez was superb though, 18th to 1st is some drive. Just a shame we lost Max early on, I think the outcome would have been very different.

Its been a great season overall, one good thing to come out of COVID. Back to utter boringness next year, save for the Dutch GP.

Have you seen the previous race? - Turkish GP where Lewis wrapped up his 7th F1 championship.

A masterclass in driving by Hamilton to move through the field and take the win.

Yesterday was George’s 36th race in F1. For the first 35 races, he out-qualified his team mate every time!

Yesterday, he only lagged Bottas by 0.026 seconds!

This was George’s first weekend driving the Merc. Bottas has been driving a Mercedes for 4 years! :o

No wonder that Bottas is quoted as saying that Russell made him look like a “complete c***”

George was robbed, what a fairy-tale win it would have been, but a driver that would challenge Lewis probably isnt what Mercedes want next year.

Did he actually have a puncture, or was it just a faulty tyre pressure sensor..?!? 🤔

In an Interview to Sky about an hour after the race finish, he said he could feel the effect of the deflation that had happened as the car crabbed down the straits and moved more in the bends. He also said he would not have made it to the end.

Agree it was a superb race, great to have this track configuration next season.
I do think we have had many exciting races over the last two seasons.
Russell certainly performed over and above expectations and would love to see him in a Mercedes next year or the year after, but not replacing LH.
I do feel very happy to have seen one of the best ever drivers in LH along with Senna, Shumacher (albeit with some dubious tactics) and possibly Prost.
How about LH and Russell in the Mercedes and Max and Perez Iin the Red Bull😛😛
