That takes me back to a memory of me starting a car for the first time. On a beach in Wales and my dad said I could start the 250, I held the start button in a didn't let go when it started, didn't go down too well, but I would have only been around 6 at the time.
Lovely cars, and that looks in stunning condition.

It is a dog leg 1st, yes. Took a little getting used to but just seemed natural after a while. I can only remember one incident at a traffic light where I nearly shot backwards, having engaged reverse in error!

Great car, my first ever trip abroad was down to south of Spain in a 3.4.

Air ferry from Lydd to le Touquet then drove down with one stop overnight at Zaragosa. Some of it was dirt track then.

First night going through France i woke up and we were right in the middle of the road well over 100.

Driver had a small scotch and soda by the gear lever and was a chain smoker, over 50 years ago now.
