In the Porsche Club mag last year, the head of Porsche was quoted as saying, Porsche will allways build a petrol 911. Maybe he knew what was in the pipeline at that time?

The Government are looking at ways to recoup, some of the massive revenue lost to the EV uptake. One of the ways considered is the introduction of more toll roads. I hope that the systems can and will differentiate, between EV's and ICE vehicles. As the latter will be hammered three times for the revenue, ie, one at the pumps, one for VED and then toll roads. But then people who own more than one car, eg classic cars (those that still pay VED), will only pay when they are used. Also the foreign truckers, and others who come into the UK, might have to cough up some money, for using our roads. And if it is electronic, via ANPR, they should have to pay the charges before they exit the borders, at the customs. We have to pay in foreign countries.
