thewanted wrote: Fri Mar 12, 2021 1:23 pm That is an awesome spec. Pretty much exactly what I would want my 718 Boxster to look like apart from the red calipers. I still really, really want one of these. I do slightly regret getting the Macan over a 718 and getting a cheaper estate car for family duties, but it's difficult to justify buying a selfish 2 seater for a family of 3.
A 911 has back seats suitable for little people...! ;)
I'd have to strap the pram to the roof

No problemo!! ;)

It was a nice looking big car. :D :D

Too big for my needs. Wasn't too keen on the 15 to 20mpg either.

A bit like a super sized Macan IMHO. I averaged 21mpg in my GTS Macan and as long as I can get somewhere close to that in the GTS Cayenne I'll smile especially with the sound of an angry V8 to make it all worth while. :D

Seems that Rab has ordered a new Cayenne GTS, somewhat under the radar ;)

I hope it’s going to be Carmine Red! 8-)

Thanks, Peter. Do you know the car? As was it an educated guess that it has PDK? 🤓

Cheers,
It was an educated guess. In nearly eight years of Porsche ownership I've only ever had one manual car. That was the Sales Manager's Cayman arranged at the last minute because the arranged loaner had not come back in.

Did you suffer a twitching left foot? :D

The Boxster looks gorgeous with the roof down, nice wheels and it's refreshing to see non-black wheels on a blue car. 😎
Shame about the PDK as those babies have a sublime 6-speed man-box. But still, it’s good to experience a different set up from our own cars. 😃
Our stable:
- 992 Carrera T - manual - Ruby Star Neo - Carrera Excl. wheels (2023)
- BMW 240i xDrive (G42) - Portimao Blue - AC Schnitzer tune
ex: 981 Cayman GTS, Macan S Diesl, Macan Turbo, 991.2 Carrera S, 718 Cayman GTS, i30 N, 718 Cayman GTS 4.0

Sorry for the stealth boys, almost embarrassed as cant seem to keep anything much past a year these days. I'm loving the ehybrid but just couldn't resist the V8 combined with the GTS bits so went for it and managed to talk my way into an early slot in Belfast. I've been offered strong money for the ehybrid, almost what I paid for it so would have been rude not to. Gone with black, Carmine is lovely but maybe a bit much on such a big car.
Here's the spec, its been added to a bit already so I'm hoping it locks soon and I'm not tempted to add more http://www.porsche-code.com/PM8VXA89
