This always amazes me that a 190+ Mph car can be so fuel efficient
Never seen anything like this in the Macan !
I’m off 928 shopping today
MPG...911
I’ve only seen more than 30 mpg on my 992 a couple of times, but I’ve not had any real opportunity do do a long steady trip.
(But yes, 25 mpg was an achievement in the GTS Macan!)

Impressive, Tracky. I’ve never got that in my 911 Carrera T. But then again, I’ve never averaged just 55mph on a journey.

Turbo engines are really frugal in car that size and weight with tall gleaming (when cruising along)
This was Semerka’s 991.2 2S PDK after a steady drive to Dorset on Christmas Eve ‘19.
I could scarcely believe it! The midnight return trip was 27% faster, but used DOUBLE the fuel
I then wasted the 35 mins I’d saved myself!
It was a memorable drive though, so I’m glad I blew out the cobwebs and spent a bit more on petrol

I often managed 30+ in my 991.2 GTS which amazed me given I only averaged 21 in my GTS Macan over eighteen months. A 911 is a special car in many unexpected ways these days.

And this was the same 991.2 2S (gone, but not forgotten ) that Red5 is talking about above on a July day blast from the Czech Republic back to Calais, very impressive MPG I'd say (the aerodynamic shape helps a lot):
