I was happy to have a £30k electric car (twice!) on the basis it wasn’t going to be my only car but I couldn’t bear spending £100k+ on a car that I couldn’t take on a tour across Europe !
You would probably be fine in Europe - I think their charging network is much better than ours. It is a UK trip that would cause you more trouble.

This is a good video about the real world experience of Taycan ownership:

oh I agree, I can't stand him either. I just saw this pop up in my recommendations on YouTube and watched it because of this specific post. If you considering electric, especially the Taycan, I strongly advise you watch it to see some of the pro's and con's of real world ownership. Don't assume because of the title that it is anti-EV, it very much isn't. However, he does experience a lot of the issues I already wrote about.

Has he recovered from getting out-drag raced by that "old" spec Model S yet?

Well I managed to get 14 mins into his video (with a bit of FFWD) just to confirm that the public charging network is still rubbish. There's no way I could go from Tesla Superchargers to this lottery.

Shmee video very interesting.

I would be massively concerned about having certain panels of a wrapped car repaired and then painted without the new paint being visible next to the existing paint.

I'd like the see the car when it is totally unwrapped in X years time and see if any of it matches???

Paint tech is very good these days but.........?
