Ordered start of January, continuously delayed for reasons we are all familiar with, but have just been informed that my Cayenne GTS has been built with delivery hopefully by Xmas.

Had given up on ever getting it but having driven one at the PEC (photo attached) I’m pretty excited, it was quite magnificent. It was also the first one I’ve ever seen, it appears there are barely any in this country.

Would have loved something else from the range, but with a big family this is the only option, but I don’t think I’m going to be disappointed.

I loved my 2013 Cayenne but found the Gen 3 car too big. I very much doubt you'll be disappointed and will be interested to hear how you get on with the rear wheel steering.

Each to his own but I'm really surprised that your spending £100k plus yet have specified base seats. Yes, I do know that's base GTS not the standard 8-way.

Never mind what I think, enjoy your car when it arrives.

I absolutely loved the 8-way alcantara on my Macan. I also think it looks fantastic and wanted the same again. In fact, at the PEC last week the Cayenne GTS there had the alcantara and it looked amazing.

Before I ordered I tested the 14-way and 18-way but wasn’t tempted. Do Porsche even do an18-way alcantara option.?

They certainly do on the Macan GTS because that's what I have. According to the configurator they also do it on the Cayenne GTS.

Yes they do, as Peter stated.it’s the 14 way that you can’t get in the Macan in Alcantara aka now as RaceTex.
