I'm resisting the temptation to look very keenly into it...I'm not sure even my man-logic could justify such a change so quicklyWing Commander wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 5:50 pm
Yup. The head GT guy at Porsche said that numbers aren’t technically limited, and that they’ll build as many as they can over the next 2 to 2.5 years or so.
What do you think of the new Taycan GTS?
However, there is a view that it's the ultimate marketing ploy by Porsche...the performance gains aren't that significant over the 4S. I also actually prefer the more rugged look of the CT compared to the ST
I have however a deposit on a Cayman GTS...YOLO

I agree that the performance gains of the GTS don’t really justify the price hike over the S. (I think the same is true of the 911 and the Macan too now.)
I really like the look of the ST and would go for a 4S ST if they do one, if I was in the market for an EV.
Cayman GTS 4.0. Now you’re talking. I think that’s my favourite Porsche right now, without spending silly money.

There is a chap on the PCGB Cayman forum who prefers the previous 718 GTS with the 2.5 turbo to the 4.0 GTS. ye the engine sounds better at high revs on the4.0. However, in the UK on roads you can only reach those revs in 1st the car is so high geared. for road use the higher mid range torque of the 2.5 turbo GTS makes it he believes a better road drive.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 9:53 amneilj007 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 7:48 amI'm resisting the temptation to look very keenly into it...I'm not sure even my man-logic could justify such a change so quickly

2019 Macan S Porsche code PKW8WKI8
So out of curiosity I have configured GT4 RS:

However, at this stage I require a commuter, not a track car, so it is pure fantasy config
