116 mph on Welsh B roads

‘Look at me’ seems to overpower everything for some it seems these days.

Why is it relevant that they were driving Porsches? If they had been driving Skoda Octavia estates would the story have stated "Skoda Octavia drivers hit 116mph in Top Gear-style YouTube video"?

And the Porsche would stop and/or manoeuvre much safer than a Skoda too if it was forced to

Not condoning this in anyway but from that video the driving seems as calculated as it could be.

High speeds in open areas with clear visibility and seemingly good road conditions. A danger to no one but themselves.

And yes I’m aware of the impact on emergency services if one of them crashed.

But to film it and upload to the internet…

Agree with everything you say at every level and I would question anybody on here that says they’ve never done that sort of speed at some point …

If someone is happy trucking along at an absolute maximum of 60 or 70mph I have no idea why they would want to buy a 400hp Porsche....

One thing I can say without fear of ever being prosecuted is that I have done 150 mph on a public road.

You probably guessed by now that it was on a German Autobahn and it was on two wheels not four.

The B4501 Denbigh to Cerrigydrudion was the road these two guys were driving along, do take a look at it on Google Earth, there are a lot of tracks leading off/on to the road, many houses and businesses scattered along the length of the road, form you own opinions if you guys think it would be safe to drive at an excessive speed over this particular road.
