Do some people struggle to read properly these days! Must be Chinese made glasses? Where did I say the OP needs educating ? Ever worked in China? If you had you might have your eyes opened. Yes Chinese products are everywhere but you can still make sensible balanced choices. As an aside to human rights issues why support manufacturers who wish to switch jobs from the west to China? It’s your kids and grandkids futures going down the drain.

I think you are straying into xenophobia at this stage. I suggest we move on as it’s unrelated to this post.

Nothing further from the truth but I guess some people love shutting down free speech by throwing around nonsense comments if it doesn’t conform to their view of the world. I stand with people wherever they live in the world who do not have the benefits we enjoy, those who are not treated as equals, those who are re-educated in camps etc etc.

Suppress free speech and one day your children and grandchildren may live under a similar regime.

I am closing my account on this forum It’s become a bit of an odd place recently. It’s embarrassing to read posts about people moaning about not being able to get their new Macan for 9/12 months when there are so many who struggle to heat their homes or live in poverty around the world. I just hope those who moan also put as much effort back into trying to improve society for all. We are very fortunate to own such special cars

Exactly the reason I moved to the UK!! I had a trip to Tibet (although many people don’t consider it is a part of China), I did struggle to breath as the air is so thin there!!! I couldn’t believe how people managed to live there!!!

Back to the studio… great review Goron.

Currently, I can clearly see a space for ICE and EV in my household. I think I will replace the Mrs car with an EV. She hasn’t done more than 100mi in one trip ever, so it should work well.
Current: 911 Carrera T - PPM9RU51

Superb write up 👍🏻.
The exterior look of the Tesla isn't too bad, but I couldn't live without instrument clusters in front of me.

Same here, although my wife’s trips are usually less than 10mi, could just get a long lead 🙄.

Interesting too that for you the Macan was your best ever car, given that you loved your R8.
Isn’t it!

No doubt objectively the Macan was the best but I never felt any real emotional connection to it.
Comfortable, practical, fast enough, drives well, but still a mini SUV.

Florence (the R8) was special. Heart skips a beat special.
Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70
Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.
Now a 2021 Tesla Model 3 LR
