With the noise insulated glass, you won’t hear the sports exhaust! ;)

An interesting thread. I am selling my 2019 911 992 CS tomorrow and buying a 6yr old Boxster 981 GTS instead which will suit me better. The 911 is an awesome car but too fast for UK roads in my opinion.
So fast that I rarely get to hear the engine anywhere near its top end. If I was going for another 911 I wouldn’t buy an S again.
The Boxster on the other hand sounds awesome and is a lot of fun to drive. Great for the next couple of years whilst I wait to see what the Macan EV turns out to be like.

I bet that the naturally aspirated 6-cylinder Boxster GTS does indeed sound awesome. Please share some pics when you get it! :)

They do. Even my wife's Cayman 2.7 sounds pretty awesome with PSE switched on.

I believe that the frequency of the sports exhaust is outside of the range that the glass is supposed to suppress. Not that it matters, I was only speccing an imaginary car! :D

@homerdog , you have a cool name!

It reminds me a friend of mine had a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog called Homer. Homer was a very well travelled dog and passed away in Tarrytown , New York 😍
