I'm guessing these cyclists will be the ones with no lights on their bikes and dressed all in black.

Just like car drivers the vast majority ride sensibly. There are like car drivers a small proportion of morons.
The major difference is the moron in the car will kill the cyclist. The moron on the bike will not kill the driver, though may well kill themselves.
Just be aware that your 2 tonne suv will likely change/end a cyclists or pedestrians life in a collision, which will ultimately end up changing yours, though in a different way.
Paying them due care may cost you a few extra seconds of your day. Not doing may cost you significantly more.

We live on a rural lane that is also a designated cycle route. We get the lycra clad, usually black, cycle club bikers in groups of up to 8. They ignore the 30 mph down hill sections, cut corners and T-junctions. Oblivious of the 30 tonne tractor & trailer rigs, 6-wheel milk tanker, Amazon / DPD etc white van man. Tricky enough in daylight, but this time of year they persist on cycling in the dark with no front lights!

Recently I came across one waiting on the lane where it meets the unlit A trunk road junction. He was in the middle of the lane at the centre of the T markings with no lights or reflectors on his racing bike at all. Dressed all in black, on a black bike at 6pm. I was coming off this busy trunk road and turning right into the lane. Thank goodness for the Macan's PDLS LED headlights.
