I can see you turning up at the office with one of these wearing a suit matching the interior.

Stunning, but that's serious money. Plus, can anyone get one, or just flippers?

New promo ad says it all.Note the comments all + ve .
Reminds me of when I was 25 (had to wait for in’s back in the 80 s ) I went courting with a black 911 .Still married to her .
Yes we have a place on Cote d Azur + boat .
Now run a 987.2 boxster the nearest analogue Porsche thus far I can find that gets near to the raw air cooled early 911 feel.
New stuff is too lardy and sterile/ anaesthetised for me .But I can see young kids who know no better dropping deposits on new 911 pork - sure ,Keeping the SE s at OPC busy .

His Boxster 987.2 + Ferrari GT4 .
Hers Macan SD
Previous pork = Cayenne S , 968 CS , 911 , even a 924 !
Ferrari Testarossa, Ferrari 360
6 Range rovers full fat + various Mercs + BImmers .

At that price, one thing it isn’t is cheap. ;)

Am sure the interior will divide opinion, as it has done already in this short thread. :P

Col,

To have one of these, I’d need to win the lottery, and buy one at an inflated price from a flipper. If I’d won the lottery, I’d no longer be going to the office. ;)

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t like it 🫢 The go faster stripes, decals and interior leave me cold. Much prefer the 2010 version as they ran out some 997’s as a Sport Classic. Remember at the time they actually had difficulties moving them all, so much that OPC’s were heavily ( for Porsche) discounting. How times have changed and why didn’t I buy one then 😖

The interior all looks great except for the cheap looking cloth bits (it probably looks better "in the flesh" :D :D )

A cloth interior in the middle sections is vastly more comfortable on long runs .Indeed the hotter ( read more exclusive ) Ferraris and pork revert back away from leather to cloth insets .
Ironically folks spec more naff leather and let Porsche empty there wallets .
It s lost on me when the base spec are more comfortable you don’ t slide on the very same suede stuff they fit out the collector , nutter spec , track cars .
Hmm !
Anyhow someone’s gotta keep Porsches wolf from the door guys .

The most comfortable seats in a pork was the cloth reccaro buckets in my 968 CS ( new 94 an a L reg ) .You via spanner’s set the inclination once .
Did 1100 miles across France in 9 hrs in that .You do the maths on Ave speed .
