Can’t say that I’m blown away by the ‘new’ Cayenne. More bulky and less attractive than the Macan, to my eyes.

I agree size has always a problem for me with the Cayenne.

The one thing I have learnt from one of the videos I saw, was that they will be still selling the petrol alongside next year's EV Cayenne for 4 years and the 4 years will also apply to petrol Macan alongside EV Macan. That is the 1st time I have heard 4 years as the period for both being sold alongside each other.

I agree - that looks like a step back in styling. Quite square / blocky shape. I was also hoping they’d blend the ACC sensor into the grill like every other marque has done. For Macan and cayenne it looks like they cut out the grill and stuck it on like a hack job.

Yep, slab-sided is the term I was looking for. 😐

I hope that the Macan doesn’t go in that direction. :?

To my mind, it's difficult to form a view on what the Cayenne will look like in the flesh from photos with nothing to compare it against. At close to 90mm taller, 57mm wider (with door mirrors folded) and 280mm longer, it's a much bigger car than the Macan. As the wheelbase is only 88mm longer there are clearly greater overhangs. On the other hand, the Cayenne competes in the full size (European that is) SUV market. It's a lot closer to that size than my Gen 2 Cayenne was. I'm not likely to be in the market for one but I'll be interested to see one in the flesh.

Absolutely love my Cayenne. It’s a big jump up sizewise from the Macan but needs necessitated and it was either a Cayenne or a different marque. The legroom for the rear passengers is akin to a 1st class cabin although the middle seat is more constricted and leads to fights over who has to sit in it. And the V8 is a joy on the ears.

Glad to see that ICE continues, but with tech moving so fast I’m quite happy to hold onto my GTS for a fair while longer before having to decide what to do next.

Bigger and less attractive than the Macan, it always has been. Although if you want the extra space? With a 4 litre V8 for the S, I like it . Already lots of content on YouTube. Will have to wait a while for GTS though, albeit fuel consumption would be scary.

My GTS is 4.2 and averaging 23mpg so far, with up to 30 on a decent motorway trip. I imagine the new version when it comes out will be an improvement.

Nothing really exciting in the range just released - base, hybrid and an S. Turbo GT is not being released in the UK I don't think so we await the GTS and Turbo / Turbo E-hybrid?

Just swapped my Macan Turbo for a Gen 3 GTS and must say this might be a keeper
