Thanks everyone - I was thinking about what to do with the front plate - don't think I want the plinth but the turbo unlike the GT3 doesn't have a large enough flat surface to get a legal number plate on it - hence having to have it curved. Could go smaller but then run into potentially having no compliant plate.

I would go smaller. You might get a fussy officer but generally if there is plate there and it can be read ok they should let it go or at worst suggest you change it.

Looks great Arif.

I take it that you will not be using it on your commute into the Office ;-)

Presume its the MG for that task?

That is very nice....great colour.

As already said, get rid of the sticker. Just put on the normal size plinth and plate. I got a fine for having a small front plate on my Lotus years ago. Its not worth the hassle...you never know when an officer might be having a bad day or have a chip on their shoulder when they see a nice car with a dodgy plate

I too would get the normal front plinth & plate. I don’t recall seeing many Turbos with the front sticker. Seems to be mostly the GT cars that have those, including Spyders and Speedsters.

Isn’t that front sticker non-compliant anyway, as it’s shorter than a regulation plate? :?

Anyhow, awesome Turbo! :)

Lovely car, just my opinion but the sticker plate does distract your eye a bit.

I see what you mean about the frontal area being less on the turbo than the gt3 as per the arctic one below

But I also think as per the 991s you could get away with a bit smaller and rolled down a bit more

The Macca has had plenty of police talk to him, some haven’t even mentioned the size but one did mention the spacing and still did nothing about it

I’d chance a smaller one until your first strike then get the plate surround fitted !
