Am also wondering re the roof eg whether it's secure when parked up

Am guessing it’s neither weatherproof nor secure from thieves. Many comments online about how rubbish the roof seems and apparently one heck of a faff to put up/down. Also, having the roof up severely limits the recommended top speed!?
It's essentially the same as a 987 Spyder roof, one top part that acts as a sun cover, the other part adds in rear window and a rear quater bit.

A bit of a pain when comparing against a non RS Spyder but that soundtrack in your ears 😎

Apparently the roof is good for 124mph.

Or the car will do 191mph with the roof down/stowed! ;)

191mph roofless on the Autobahn if you have big enough plums and earplugs 😆

I love the traditional sports cars but how do you guys that own them avoid the awful perils of our roads in them. What with speed humps and pot holes like craters aren’t you frequently bottoming them out :?:

I always approach speed humps with a great deal of caution, and at a very modest speed! I am nervous of some of the huge pot holes in our roads at present! Most can be avoided or skirted around in daylight, but at night they are harder to spot! 😬

Stunning car! Think you'd have to treat is as a full time roof off car, but what a car

I’ve submitted my spec to my local OPC, I’m guessing I’ll receive the obligatory “you ain’t a special enough customer’ in the next couple of weeks
