In my mind the simplest way to re invigorate F1 is to take all pit / car communications away. If it was up to me I would also remove seatbelts but suspect some may find that unacceptable…

I would go for weight handicapping based on championship position. The more points the more weight.

It was a bit more than a bit of bad weather as others have said. Something like 6 months’ rain in 36hrs.
We have a house in the affected area, although fortunately not in an area at risk of flooding (short of a major tsunami) so it’s ok, but the footage I’ve seen (we also have Italian TV at home here in the UK) is pretty terrifying.
