Taycan 24hr test drive!

Just got an email from my local OPC Wilmslow offering me a 24hr test drive in a taycan or taycan Cross tourismo!

I think I'll take them up on the offer as I think it will be an interesting experience in many ways.

What do you think the insurance excess will be though!!!???

Not surprised they're offering generous test drives, there are hundreds of the things sitting around, brand new, in OPCs. The Porsche website is showing almost 350 new Taycans for sale - plus over 400 pre-owned Taycans!
Macan S collected 4 Dec 2017 - Jet Black, 20" SportDesign, Agate/Pebble, 18-way, Pano roof, Bi-Xenons with PDLS, Surround View, PASM, PS+, spare wheel, towbar.

Pretty incredible isn't it. 350 new Taycans ready to go and just 14 Macans :)

Not sure that I would buy one though.

I was surprised I was g8iven a Taycan for the day just weeks after buying my Macan off the OPC. But they did say they wanted people to feel how an EV drives, for when the order books open up on the EV Macan.

But as discussed several times. Most (if not all) of those Tayca's will be ex demo cars or ex company cars. Private buyers simply don't want them.

Plus they catch fire a lot !!! :lol:

Hmmmm...is it worth it :?

I had a cayenne coupe a couple of years ago as a loaner...excess on that was £500.
