Just back from a road trip to Sandwich in Kent to see my daughters.

Over 330 miles done, mostly motorway.

What shocked me was that the two worst examples of poor driving on this trip were both Porsches!

One was a Panamera and the other was a Cayenne Turbo S.

Both engaged in blatant under-taking and repeatedly switching across all four lanes!

Giving Porsche drivers a bad name.

I suspect that neither of them liked being overtaken by a certain Racing Yellow 911. :P

I have actually rarely seen a Porsche being driven quickly.

2 x 911 and one Panamera (apart when I am diving   )

One plonker in a 911 recklessly overtaking a group of Motorcyclists all travelling in the country on the Ingleton to Hawes road at a safe 50-60mph.

The dick in the 911 was cutting in and out of them (it was us really as I was one of them) and brake testing.

Luckily we were a group all in comms with each other so each took the appropriate action.

I am in the SD on a straight road doing 60 and the Panny who was stuck to my rear bumper came past at about 90.

Number 3 was another 911 with a painted Bimbo in the passenger seat, he was obviously trying to show off and nearly wrapped his motor up going off road.

So three Porsche idiots in 10 years is a pretty good average.

We see more Beamer and Merc idiots in a few days than 10 years of poor Porsche driving.

13 years of police cut-backs and now all the bad drivers sit at 60mph in the middle lane because a speed camera won't stop you for it
If that's how it's going to be, then I seriously think we should adopt the US system of being able to pass on either side on motorways.

Experienced many times on the M5 by all the arseholes who just needlessly sit in the middle lane, whilst the nearside lane is empty!!!

Too well! ;) Way too easy to prod the loud pedal and be doing three figures seemingly in the blink of an eye!
