I would definitely have had the houndstooth check cloth seat centres on my Macan had they been an available option - saw them in the dealer in a new Cayenne Squashback and they looked excellent.

I’m with SAC1 on alcantara seats. My Macan had the Turbo interior and I thought it was one of the best interiors I’ve seen and used. Until last year I felt the same about alcantara steering wheels but the Defender came with it as standard and no option to change. I’ve grown to like it in use actually and it’s really nice to use in all seasons, but it’s also heated of course!

Alcantara seat centers are fabulous - warm in winter / cool in summer. Have had them on both Macans and much prefer to the all leather seats. No signs of wear or stainning in over 3 years use and never had to clean them. Mind you, would never have an Alcantara covered steering wheel.

Love my alcantara seats. I first had them on my Macan and then got them again on my Cayenne and I think they look great and are incredibly comfortable. I regretted my alcantara steering wheel initially but now a big fan of it. 2 years down the line it’s still absolutely immaculate and very pleased that I specced it. Each to their own and all that!

I can’t say I “hate” it, that’s a bit strong, just not a fan of plastic on seats and steering wheels - having said that I don’t think it would be a deal breaker if I was buying used etc.
