More competition in the SUV market means that there is less scope for Porsche to put up prices next year which is good news for all those waiting for delivery

A guy I know had a brand new 156 2.4JTD Sportwagon back in the day when they were pretty hot looking property. Lovely looking car but a story that still makes me chuckle was when it was only a few weeks old and went into limp mode. He was passed very slowly on a wide street by a bus full of passengers

Had a long term rental of a 156 1.8 T-Spark back in the early 2000's - was a great car to drive and this one was new so I thrashed the life out of it....
Someone I knew saw it and loved it and then bought a 2nd hand one...... had it a few years and when I saw him I asked about how it was going..... told me Engine ceased.....oooppps....

Saw it as a mule south of Brescia a few weeks ago, pretty sure it was an Alfa, since it was following a white Alfa saloon and both had unusual reg plates. They were really motoring when they could, but I stayed with them a while. Never been brave (or foolish?) enough to buy an Alfa.

I've only just sold on an Alfa 147GTA, which I'd had for 9 years, and it was a great car. Other than a snapped cam belt, which could have happened to many a car, it was reliable and I had no problems.

I know this wasn't a typical Alfa, but I was pretty pleased with depreciation of only £3k during my ownership.

Personally wouldn't touch this with a barge pole! But 505 BHP Stelvio is incoming. Would this scare Porsche, or are porsche happy knowing the name sells itself?

yup, just ugly. sorry...

Was discussing alfasuds the other day we both had good ones any they could be good, will look at new suv for sure,it would be great if we can have reliable alfas, mind you they would need to a lot cheaper than our macans just in case.
I suspect it will look better in alfa red!
