Luck indeed but they looked after me well so no complaints.... It truly is an awesome machine....as I note above it is the sheer grip that is beyond belief....when you feel your skin pulling off your face you know its good.... :)
Belfast OPC have a 1 year old 200 mile white one for sale at £217k..... There are a few more over your neck of the woods for up to £250k and more....
I did hear prices were dropping a bit but I doubt enough for me! :)
Certainly an experience to stay with me for a while....

I had a similar stroke of look when a good friend of ours decided not to take her driving experience following the purchase of her Panamera Turbo S. She passed the experience to me and in view of the car she had bought, I was offered any Porsche in the range. On that basis, it was a tough call but I went for the GT3RS (the other one they have at PEC with no aircon and lava orange alcantara inserts in the seats.) As I had been before when I purchased my Cayman S, my instructor took me out early thus missing the briefing and giving me more track timeBig smile. It is an awesome car and so well engineered. I've since been back as a guest of OPC Chester driving the 718 Cayman S, also a great piece of engineering and fast but I'd rather have my flat 6 (or just maybe a GT3RS). Can't wait to get back there driving the Macan SD we have ordered as the family car although I'm not likely to see as much of the track as my wife will me making the most of it!!

Glad you had such a great time.

Me, only managed 1/2 hour in a 911S whose grip was astonishing and the drive out of corners was so much better than expected so I can only imaging what the GT3 was like, I am so envious.

Mind you I do have an outstanding PEC invitation still to fulfill.

Yes it was £45 for the Turbo - it was £250 or more for the GT3 RS.... so I scored big time when they made a little error in my booking...
Had originally went for the GT4 but it was already booked out...

So, if you are going for a normal Macan driving experience can you "get a shot" of the 911 turbo for £45?

Or does the price vary depending on what you are testing / driving?

ScotMac you can have have a 911 4s and a Macan at no extra cost. The 911 turbo is £45 extra.
You should advise them before you go though.

I decided to split between Macan and latest 911 4s

Thanks - £45 sounds good. 911 4s is still a great machine though.
