Hi All,
Was at the Driving Experience last Friday - Afternoon slot, not sure if anyone on here was there.....

Anyway I knew what I had arranged before I went over - due to a slight error from the team over there I managed to bag myself the afternoon in this monster - 911 GT3 RS.

What a weapon....I expected it to be more hard core than it was....the biggest surprise wasn't the power it was the grip, even throughout the day I found it hard to trust that the front end was just able to turn in.

As the day went on after some helpful driving advice I was able to push harder with it being noted that I was entering some of the corners 10-15 mph faster and the car was still well in control - you felt the harder you pushed and drove it correctly the more stable it became which meant it could go faster again.... just mind boggling....

Launch control another amazing feature on how quick it can get off the line...

Overall a great day, looked after well by the staff and my instructor, nice lunch etc. just thoroughly enjoyed - would love to go back again - but that means buying again - will see on that front....

I did however also have a twinkling for the Cayman GT4 that was there.... that was also very nice indeed....

Both probably not practicable for me....no boot space for the suitcase for the regular trips to the airport...Wink
Enjoy the pics...

Sounds like a great afternoon with the 911 GT3 RS. What had you booked to actually drive?

very very nice. Love the colour and wheels too.
Ohh well i will have to do with the 9114s on my visit in a couple of weeks.

Sounds like you had a great time. If i am right you have to pay an additional £45 to drive the Turbo?

Yes it was £45 for the Turbo - it was £250 or more for the GT3 RS.... so I scored big time when they made a little error in my booking...
Had originally went for the GT4 but it was already booked out...
