Thanks - £45 sounds good. 911 4s is still a great machine though.

Lovely. I need to test drive my next car so doing it at PEC will be a great start.

The 911 is just a beautiful car.

Local guy has the same orange GT3R'S and parks it outside his work place on a main road day and night. he travels 4-6 times a year abroad and puts his cases in his roof box and off they go job done at 240k don't think I'd leave it outside on a bus route and sleep at night jonmacan2016-11-23 20:26:20

Hi Tom, I think most on here have been at least once. I went and took a friend and we shared the driving. I travelled from London which wasn’t too far and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was good to get a sense of what the car is capable of in a safe environment. Others took the opportunity to drive other cars in the range, but I only spent time in a Macan. It was supposed to be a SD but ended up being a petrol S. I would definitely recommend it. Maybe look for a cheap hotel nearby if it’s a bit of a trek.

I think it’s a case of flying in and out of Birmingham. Whatever, it has to be done in a
day. As my days are heavily committed during the dark season it will be May at the earliest. It sounds a valuable experience. I was not aware of it prior to getting the email.

I did the experience in a GTS about a month before I collected mine. I thought it was excellent. It gave me the opportunity to understand how the car handles in all sorts of different situations, with and without PSM. I especially enjoyed the kick plate and the ice hill and got a real kick out of using launch control followed by emergency braking. That car handles everything you throw at it with ease and gives you the confidence that if you hit trouble in the real world the car is on your side.

My one regret was having to slow down to let the 911s pass me
