Next Cayenne date?

Hey all,

Whilst I am in love with our Macan GTS there is slight issue with space, 2 car seats and mother-in-law and I could be tempted for a new cayenne - not hooked on the brand.

Does anyone know when it is expected, any nuggets of gold from Luke?

The new 2.9 V6 engine will no doubt feature - that would be my choice or possibly go hybrid....

Any news would be welcome.

Articles seem to indicate a release date of late 2017 and on the road in early 2018, after a quick Google. AutoExpress artist's impressions:

By all accounts March 18 for the first Cayenne deliveries followed by the Macan facelift June onwards.

The Cayenne is running a bit late, together with the new A8 caused by delays with the new autonomous systems. They are planning to start deliveries in Germany at the end of 2017 and early spring 2018 in the UK.

Doesn't it need to be announced at (e.g.) Frankfurt in September? Could be delayed or de-prioritised. I've heard it's possible it might be launched in the US first. But then the internet's full of

Agreed. Looks a bit too much like the original Cayenne, which I didn't like.
