The place to discuss everything else..

Drove past Mercedes World at Weybridge today, a few people were on the circuit.

One image is of the Map display on the PCM which shows the circuits.

Must say the guy I watched on the skid pan had great difficulty in not doing a 360, the E series he was driving did not inspire.

I bought my E350 CDI estate there a fee years ago. Was the best handover experience I've ever had (slightly better than porsche). They treat you well on services too - you get an automated personalised sign light up to show you where to park and a doorman to take away and bring back your car after the service. There's also a nice area to wait with posh coffee and Danish pastries.

Very civilised.

I've never been on the track though.

No offence but that sounds ridiculous. Are you saying Merc sucks because you witnessed one person struggling on a skid pan?!

There are plenty of people who are unfamiliar with skid pans who struggle to correct the car...zero tand do with the car, all to do with the driver. This is going to sound immodest but hell the original post seems crazy but I have drive plenty of times at Silverstone in Macan Diesels etc. overtaking everything else because (a) I know the track and (b) I know a little about what I am doing...doesn't mean that a Macan Diesel (extreme example) is better than a 991.1 C4S!
Current Porsches: 991.2 GT3 RS
Previous Porsches: Macan x4 (one of each), Panamera x2, 996x2, 997x2, Cayenne S, Boxster S, Cayman S x2, Boxster Spyder, 991.1 Turbo S, 991.2 GT3 (manual), 718 Cayman GTS (PDK)
Others: way too many...
