In response to Kasfranks99's request for pics I thought I'd put them here rather than continue our off topic chat in Nobleman's Outdoor Cover thread.

Floor's a bit grubby I'm afraid....

Ah, the studded rubber tile floor. At one time we considered a brighter version for our bathroom.

Thanks Nick. Really appreciated. They look great. 👍
They will help considerably to keep the dust away and does smarten the floor up too.

I am considering a pattern but will probably get someone to do it for me. Will post pics once done.
Just get a little frustrated after washing a car and it gets dusty in a couple of days of doing nothing in the garage. 😳

Much more interesting than outdoor covers.

My garage is just a screed base. Even with indoor covers the cars in there collect dust.

Tempted to do this but I'll need a new screed I think before tiling to make sure it's properly level.

That means the indoor cars will need to live outside for the duration though. Which, at the risk of a thread hijack, brings us full circle back to where this all started. 😉

Looks great. Just had my garage floor done. Screeded and red tiles. A massive improvement and 1800 quid well spent.

It's been a long and expensive journey to get my two garages renovated and I won't bore you with all the details but it's great to have clean, dry and secure storage for cars and bikes. The double garage also serves as a workshop so the tiling has really improved the environment for that. The floor is nicer to stand or kneel on and will be warmer in winter. It is also much easier to keep clean than the rough old screed. Very pleased with the overall result.

Looks good Nick. Where did you get the tiles from?

Mototile - http://mototile.com

Mine are the light grey heavy duty recycled tiles with coin top pattern.

In our last house I tiled the garage too. Long garage that I used as a workshop for my bikes. Bought a job lot of ceramic tiles from B&Q and laid them myself. You wouldn't believe the amount of comments that I got from that!
