Would love to do something like this but with a floor area of over 150 sq m I think it could get expensive. Currently have a new very smooth sealed concrete floor which isn't bad at all.

That's not a garage, it's a hangar!

That sounds like a showroom not a garage....

Maybe the 150 sq m refers to the house!? ;) Polished concrete floors are quite trendy now for modern home interiors! Seen a few on Grand Designs!

It's the garage for sure and my wife did say it's like somewhere that is used for selling cars.

Yes the polished concrete is trendy and the guy who built the garage did send a couple round recently to see the floor finish as they were planning to do the same in their new house. It's nice in the garage but really not sure I would fancy it in my house.

Man, this thread makes me feel poor - my garage is full of all the junk that won't fit in the shed.

Even if it were empty, you couldn't open a car door.

Really? Three broken strimmers, an old sofa, a million different sized screws, and one screwdriver is really worth that much...??

surely you mean sq ft not sq metres?

my double garage is 265 sq ft = 24 sq metres? are you saying you have a garage 6 times the size of a normal double garage?
