It looks a bit like an XE that's mated with a Focus. Nice from some angles though, and it'll sell in droves.

This car will immediately become the best selling Jag, even if by doing so, JLR are cannibalising some of their own Evoque sales...

Again its another case of Jag aiming at the quality 2.0 litre SUV shopping trolley/school run market, rather than the Jag enthusiast.
Jag have got to pay the wages and make profits so like all car makers they are getting stuck into the SUV market. Plenty of choice for us buyers.
Yes and No.

They only have engines to compete with the base Macan and to a limited extent the SD.

No V6 oil burner or petrol in the range.

I have just configured an XE with a supercharged 380 horses engine and that came out at £53k. As the XE has a reasonable range of engines why is that not the case with the E Pace?

Yes, good isn't it (sizewise at least, I mean), albeit still rather broad in the beam.

I expect that Jaguar has had plenty of interest in the F-Pace, but people have wanted something smaller/efficient.

Agreed. Q3 size is where the volume market will be. Even some Macaneers have indicated that they'd prefer a Q3 sized Porsche. :geek:

I think it was the autocar chap that said it was Q3 sized on the outside and Q5 space on the inside.

In terms of exterior dimensions the E Pace is about 11" shorter than a Macan, 2.4" wider and 1" taller. :ugeek:

I was nearly going to buy one - but if it is 2.4" wider then it won't fit in my garage.

Have to just stick with my Macan :D :D :D
