I found an advert for a 991.2 GTS and found this:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 911&page=1

If people don't like the GTS styling then why not just buy the cheaper S or 4S model!

I just don't get it but maybe it's just me!

Hey Arif. I can't open your link, but do you mean this one? I wouldn't pay £112k...

Maybe they care about the GTS engineering bits and not the bling. Don't we generally recommend buying as high a basic spec as possible to avoid wasting money on the options list?

Some people don't like matte black wheels ... and depending, me included.

This person got the black anodised GTS wheels repainted in bright silver & replaced the wheel caps. A 2wd GTS with manual box, rear wheel steering and a few other bits... (He/she did also spec silver badging and body coloured engine vents.) Selling after 1,300 miles.

I guess that quite a few on here have specced their Macan GTSs without the black GTS Spyder wheels... :geek:

I personally don't like black wheels at all, so I can understand why you'd go down this route. As has been said, all the engineering characteristics with a tweak to the aesthetics.

I just do not see why anyone would bother to have the wheels painted and then sell the car.
