Sorry Sid and all other Turbo wheel lovers but they are just butt ugly and especially at this angle.

The Turbo 21s are actually my favourite wheel. Just couldn't justify the added cost and they would be quickly kerbed where we live with constant parallel parking on busy London streets.

very nearly changed to silver spyders on my GTS with Night Blue. Glad I stuck with black. I am sure I am not alone in thinking spyders are great wheels but then I don't clean mine!

My wife actually chose the Spyders and overruled me as I wanted the standard 20s because I know she will wreck the Spyders.

One year on, three of them and kerbed and I hate washing them!

Plus one for this.

I dont want black wheels - son in law has them on his (soon to be returned) F Pace and they do nothing for me. I'll be going 20" Sport Design - much harder picking the colour to go with them!

Love my 21" Sports Classics in Satin Platinum, doddle to clean inside and out, the only problem is, this is the only piccy i have on my laptop :-)

IMHO you also need the gold centres no matter what wheel you buy either from the OPC or evilbay which some have bought it's just the finishing touch.

I agree on the coloured wheel centres - changes the look of the car IMHO.

Spyders are the business, the best looking rims, though they are a sod to clean.

Now Turbo style look all wrong and neither concave or convex, too me they just look wierd, so wierd to me that if they were the only wheel choice I would not be driving a Macan.
Colin, I didn't raise the matter with her at all, she found out by eavesdropping on me!!!!
I want 20" summer tyres for improved handling, but she's still not impressed with my choice of wheel. There are only two 20's to pick from and the spyders appeal much more than the sports design's, and imo will look good on VG.
On the 21's, I think the classics look best and the Turbos look too big and fussy to me, but each to their own.
If my plans fall through, would I notice an improvement with 19" summer tyres? - I doubt it.

ImageThere are sound arguments for both options. I went for monochrome centres as I believe they fitted better with overall VG scheme. And SportDesigns: the head ruled the heart but 18 months on and absolutely no regrets but they still take as long or longer to clean than the rest of the car.
