Ah, that's the problem! The R8 was made in Neckarsulm :)

Mine were quite worn (on passenger side too) but not too bad. The bolsters on my previous B7 RS4 were worse though. Macan 18-ways are coping much better, though I'd reserve judgement until they get another 30k miles on them!

The seats were made by Recaro. When my son was responsible for V8 and V10 engine mapping in the R8 and Lamborghinis he spent far too much time on the autobahns between Ingolstadt and Neckarshulm, usually driving an R&D pool S8.
