BMW may make good cars but the designs are either boring or variation on other manufactirers designs.

Not sure on your timelines there, Col! ;)

E.g. BMW 507 launched 1956 and Triumph Spitfire launched 1962. So who copied whom!? ;)

Neither am I except for the Fiat which was early to mid Sixties and the Beamer T2002tii in the image looks the early 70s model.

Must admit I did like the look of the 2002tii at the time.

Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.
Now a 2021 Tesla Model 3 LR

Maybe I'm not quite old enough to see the "beauty" in those old Beemers, they all look like boxes to me except perhaps the first roadster. This is my idea of a classic car:-

BMW have been known in the past to make some good looking cars..
+1. I think they absolutely produced some classics in the past - and we're used as the platform for many others; Fraser Nash, Bristol etc - they have simply become to corporate. And whilst they've tried to produce a competitor for Porsche they've consistently fallen short albeit there has been the occasional hit.

Very nice...
I was a BMW fan until Chris Bangle arrived and messed up their styling. I never bought one of his "concotions".
