Maybe because the Macan doesn't cut it as a "large" SUV. I know some of the cars that made their top 10 are roughly the same size on the exterior, but the Macan is just too small inside. I'm more surprised that the Cayenne isn't on the list, I would have thought that was easily a top 10 "large SUV". Not a Range Rover in sight, no big Mercs, no Audi Q7, Volvo XC90 etc. Basically a next to useless list in a typical lazy magazine article. I won't be rushing out to buy their no. 1 choice.
