On the USA forum a guy posted a question asking is his was the most expensive Turbo with PP, it came in at £86,000.

Needless to say many corrected him.

Spare a thought for anyone wanting said Turbo PP in Singapore where the cost is £230,000 and £1,800 a year road tax.

I'm a bit of a cheapskate but doesn't take many options to get the OTR price in that area.

Really happy with my choice of options though so it's not wasted.

Interesting to see who on here has specced up the dearest Macan, we all know how dangerous the confuserator is!

I managed £66,500 on an SD in March 2016 then dropped another 2k plus on a retrofit Sports Exhaust! Do I regret it? Nah.

my SD was £73k, it was spec'd up as a keeper, but I took a bath on it when the GTS was launched and tempted me away, and that one was even more, £79k (option trigger happy + ppf installed) ..
no, i could not have got a turbo with all the options i wanted for the same price (my turbo configs are always £10k over that).
no regrets (except maybe the 21" wheels, which are easily kerbed on london streets)

That must have been a tick every option exercise on your GTS, Dougal! Mine came in at £65k and has plenty of options although I consider it relatively sensibly optioned rather than opulently optioned if you know what I mean.

I've scraped a kerb once already but the tyres on 20" rims stick out enough to protect the rims.

You might be able to protect the rims more with a different brand of tyre.

Not sure tbh, the fitted tires have a big rubber lip to help protect against kerbing, and i managed 10 months without a scratch, but a couple weeks ago my rear left bounced off the high kerb in a multi story spiral exit, the type of which was built in the 60's and the Macan seems to hate navigating.
I was gutted, and have since then clipped another kerb with the same wheel too, so that wheel will need a re-furb to look good again :(.

Funny enough I had a play with the conifigurator the other day swapping my spec onto a PP. I wouldn't change much about my build though I would go for full leather. Much as I love the look of the 21s I'm happy with the 20s on mine - the ride and noise are better. I might refinish the wheels in gunmetal reckon that would look good.

This is the build I came up with http://www.porsche-code.com/PJ15Q4G2

They already got the tax as you spent it - VAT is 20%. You can't avoid the tax!

That's right, £13k VAT plus £15k profit for Porsche makes you realise what good value the car is at £57k!!
